I began in North of Boston as a child, listening to old phonograph records. I was in love with Louis Armstrong and I wanted desperately to be Ella Fitzgerald. So, when I came of age, I went to find my way in N'Orleans. I travelled some, was embraced, and stand before you now as something more than dead, but still less than alive. Here I write about my past, my future, and my present. I'm nothing spectacular, just some small town girl who found more than she wanted in the Big City.
